This highly informative and interactive two day course will educate the student in the importance of good Vehicle Rescue Management practices involving a wide variety of passenger vehicles and School Buses. The lectures will emphasize the vehicle rescue triangle, bus & vehicle construction, early recognition & mitigation of hazards commonly encountered at motor vehicle crashes. Practical exercises will include training stations involving hydraulic tool use, electric & pneumatic hand tool use, high pressure lift bags and advanced strut stabilization, school bus operations and complex problem solving. Agency approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and signed registration form & release waiver is required.
